Super cool and unusual pair of early 1940s selvedge jeans. Classic fit with a high waist and wide, slightly tapered leg. Rivets on each belt loop and pocket corners. Orange contrast stitching, and it looks like someone reinforced them with white too. But the best part is that they have both donut button closure AND a zipper. I’m guessing the original owner added the zipper for an extra secure fit. Easily one of the coolest pairs of 1940s jeans I’ve found!
FITS LIKE: m/l
FLAWS: a few paint splatters on the left knee and the seat. One pocket rivet is missing. Couple loose stitches in the crotch seam.
