Really beautiful antique folk corset — Hungarian in origin, I think, but not 100% sure. Made of soft black velvet and embroidered with metallic gold and silver threads in a floral motif. It laces up the front with gold metal thread. It has baleen boning inside, which dates it to somewhere in the mid 19th century — 1850s or 60s probably. It does appear that the inside has been relined sometime in the mid 20th century though. It almost looks like someone sewed a longline bra inside of it.
FITS LIKE: xs/s

FLAWS: either someone added an extra row of eyelet holes near the waist by just poking the thread through, the holes have ripped a little bit. Either way you can’t really see it from the outside
