This knit set from the late 1930s or early 40s is by far the best one I’ve found to date!
- made of very stretchy wool blend (not itchy!) in a dark blue veering into teal color
- a-line skirt with elastic waist
- cropped sweater with short, peaked sleeves, and an exaggerated collar
- cardigan with a dramatic peplum and 7 white celluloid clasps that look like little knots. There are hidden snap closures as well
FITS LIKE: xs/s and probably best for someone on the shorter side (for reference, I'm 5'4")
BUST: 28-34” sweater; 28-36” cardigan
WAIST: 24-30” skirt and sweater; 26-30” cardigan;
LENGTH: 18-20” cardigan; 14-16” sweater; 25-28” skirt
FLAWS: there are mends throughout - but these are professionally done and aren’t noticeable unless you’re looking for them. See photos! There was originally an eighth button at the bottom but I broke it when trying to unhook it. The buttons are kind of hard to unclasp so I’d recommend undoing the top snap and then just slipping this over your head when you wear it. It’s easy to do since this price is quite stretchy.
