Wildest late 1930s cardigan from my personal collection. The original owner loved and wore this to bits. Then I did the same, and now it’s time for someone else to cherish it!
It’s made from a soft wool blend (not itchy!) in the most vibrant purple color. The shoulders and waistband are ribbed, and there are four tiny (functional!) pockets. The buttons are the stars of the show, though. They are huge marigold yellow Bakelite disks!
FITS LIKE: M
FLAWS: As previously mentioned, this piece has been worn and loved for 80+ years, so it has some fading and visible mends. I had Old Flame Mending darn a few large holes with neon chartreuse yarn. There is a little mend inside the collar as well. The bottom button is missing and there is a small hole where it was attached.
