Amazing blouse or jacket from the late 1930s! I think this must have originally gone over a dress or had a modesty panel but it is damn cool just like this.
FEATURES:
- paper-thin, pale silver lamé fabric
- short sleeves with peaked shoulders
- exaggerated lapels
- nipped waist with button closure
FITS LIKE: XS/S
BUST: up to 36”
WAIST: 28”
LENGTH: 18”
SHOULDER: 12.5”
CONDITION: very good. There is some light snagging to the lame throughout, and on each sleeve there’s a weak spot where the metallic threads have started to separate. There is some oxidation mainly around the underarm areas and near the collar. It actually looks really cool IMO — it has a rainbow, oil slick kind of sheen to it! There is a faint stain on the back center and one on the left arm. This sounds like a lot but it’s really not!
