Striking 1930s dress by upscale Parisian boutique (and maybe couturier?) Jean Bader. I wasn’t able to uncover a ton of info on this label but I did find some mentions in French fashion magazines (alongside heavy hitters like Schiaparelli!) from the 1930s and an advertisement. Missoni currently occupies the address listed on the tag.
So, she’s fancy! And that’s definitely evident in her sleek Art Deco lines and understated glamour.
FITS LIKE: s/m (no closures but lots of stretch)
FLAWS: underarm discoloration. A three small holes on front of the skirt near the bottom.
