Absolutely stunning 1930s gown and jacket set. Made of a deep, plum colored silk velvet. Gown is a classic, simple 30s bias cut with a plunge back. No closures. Matching jacket is really special -- it has a high collar with floral detail, long pointed sleeves, peek-a-boo open back. The jacket could totally be worn on its own as a blouse. There is a matching belt as well.
This piece belonged to my friend Niki's great Aunt Flo. There are no photos of Flo in this dress, but I've included one of her in her "country clothes."

BUST: 36" dress; up to 38" jacket (but should be a little roomy)
WAIST: 26" dress; 27"
HIP: up to 40"
LENGTH: 57" dress; 16.5" jacket
FLAWS: repair to left underarm of dress. Not noticeable when worn.
