Super cool 1940s crepe day dress! Features a really unusual abstract print of houses, squiggly lines and shapes and paint splotches. Very reminiscent of modernist textiles sculptor Alexander Calder’s made for Laverne Originals in the late 1940s, but there’s no label or signature. Shoulders are ruched and lightly padded. Velvet ribbon detail at neckline. Matching belt. Side zip closure.

FLAWS: there's a rusty stain on the right hip area and near them hem. It's pretty well camouflaged by the print, but it's there. One belt loop is missing but it isn't noticeable and doesn't affect wearability.
