Beautiful robe from the 1940s! It’s made of fluffy, berry-colored cotton chenille, with a comfortable, broken-in feel. The shoulders are peaked for a dramatic and very 1940s look. There’s a hip pocket and attached waist ties. There are interior ties as well.
The tag had disintegrated but the previous owner told me it was by Adrian Evans, and I was able to find a bunch of ads from 1945!
FITS LIKE: s
BUST: up to 36”
WAIST: 30” but meant to belt smaller
HIP: 40”
LENGTH: 50”
SHOULDER: 14”
FLAWS: there is fading throughout the top portion of the robe, and a few little stains — see pics. Doesn’t detract, in my opinion! The original interior ties have been replaced with modern ones. These ones are white and kind of a strange aesthetic choice but they aren’t visible at all when worn.
