This incredibly charming late 1930s/early 1940s evening set has so many great details! And I would totally wear the jacket on its own as a blouse!
- cropped jacket with puffed sleeves, button front, and burgundy floral embroidery. The original Dansant label is still present!
- matching gown with keyhole details, double straps, a wide embroidered waistband and full, sweeping skirt. There’s a talon bell zip up the back.
- both pieces are made of ballet pink taffeta, which I believe is rayon
FITS LIKE: S/M
BUST: 35” dress; 36” jacket
WAIST: 27” dress; 29” jacket
LENGTH: 55” dress; 13” jacket
FLAWS: both pieces appear to have been let out a little bit. You’d only notice if you were really looking for it but there are faint lines near the seams and faint lines where there were darts in the bust. There’s a small spot on the front of the jacket and some faint discoloration on the back shoulder. On the dress, there are a few faint storage lines and there is a larger tan mark near the hem on the left side. While obvious in the flat lay photos, when the dress is worn you really don’t see them because of the drape.
