Classic, timeless clutch circa 1946. This bag is clearly emulating Plastiflex, but is actually by a company called Lumured, which went on to create those ubiquitous micro-beaded “caviar” bags in the 1950s. While plastiflex tiles are fully plastic, the ones on this bag are leather with a plastic faux tortoiseshell frame. The purse has a metal zipper with an adorable leather tassel. It’s got a rayon lining with a small interior storage pocket. Condition is excellent - the tassel is attached to the zipper with a small piece of twine which I think might be a repair but I’m not 100% sure. Measures about 14” wide, 7” tall and 2.5” deep.
