This blouse by Adelaar is easily one of the best novelty pieces I’ve ever found! It’s made of vibrant orange rayon faille with a good luck print featuring hamsa hands, elephants, horseshoes, ladybugs, four leaf clovers, and the number 13. It’s a cuspy late 1940s to early 1950s (1948-49 is my best guess — see pics for a similar Adelaar blouse from 48) with the softer shape that became the style of the 50s but with the structured shoulder pads of the 1940s. I especially love the neck tie with v-cut ends! It’s just so special!
