Really wild, really unusual patchwork evening wrap that I believe is from the late 1920s to early 30s. It came from the estate of a wealthy nyc family who traveled extensively during that time and I believe it’s European in origin. It definitely has elements of art movements of that time. It’s signed, but I haven’t been able to identify a particular designer. Has kind of a bauhaus/myrbor/werkstatte thing going on. Would look super cool as a display piece but it’s quite sturdy and wearable.
measures 80” long and 13” wide. Excellent condition with just a little spot on the back.
